Wanda Keith, site manager at Tupelo, is the parent of a young man with Down Syndrome who has worked 7 years in the public school system as a teacher’s assistant to students in the Special Education Class while working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.
After receiving her degree, Ms Keith taught students at the 7th and 8th grade level. In May 2007, Wanda started working as a Program Director overseeing services provided to families in the home and community, more commonly known as the ID/DD Waiver.
Wanda has completed the College of Frontline Supervision as well as the core curriculum in the College of Direct Support. She has also completed supported employment training and is currently enrolled in Elevate Learning modules related to her field.
